The roots of Berdick Windows and Doors were planted in the 1960’s, when two entrepreneurs’ by the names of Bert and Dick Guenhiede (Where the “Berdick” name originates from) designed and produced aluminum slider windows out of their garage.
In 1969, to meet the ever-growing demand; a partnership was developed with Mr. Abe Wiebe of Winkler, Manitoba. In the 1980’s, Berdick ventured into the residential window and door market with its manufacturing focus on PVC windows. Alongside the new PVC windows, was the introduction of insulated steel residential doors; and yet once more, the road to success was clearly paved by Berdick Windows and Doors.

In 2009, the current ownership group purchased the business from Abe Wiebe. This group of new owners saw the positive impact and flourishing business that Abe had created and knew they were the right people to take it further along its road of success.
An ever growing demand for Commercial Windows, design driven residential builds and lite commercial project drove Berdick to add Fiberglass Windows to it’s product offering in 2011.
